Best Western Plus Le Roof Vannes Bord de Mer

The view from our room was very pretty. The Roof Hotel manages to be both modern and have character. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. We used room service for one evening meal and breakfasts on 4 days. The service was excellent.

Lovely location on an island close to Vannes. Lots of places to walk in nature nearby. Lovely bar area in the garden overlooking the estuary and beach, lovely place to enjoy a drink in the sun. Restaurant was fully booked the night we stayed but they booked us a table in the restaurant opposite which was lovely (excellent mussels). Staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. 10 minute drive from the Center of Vannes but plenty of parking there and well worth a visit

The location of the hotel is superb - the first thing we did was sit with a beer at a table on the patio overlooking the water and boats. The hotel has secure parking including shade for several of the bays. Our room had a balcony and was a good size. Room came with a minibar and kettle. Although the hotel restaurant was fully booked, reception made a booking for us at an adjacent restaurant, which we really enjoyed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic location, great facilities, good food and very helpful staff. I would particularly like to give the greatest praise to Sarah who helped me with items I left in the safe. She went out of her way to help me with the packaging of the items and the courier. Fabulous.
